LX100 - I-ZOOM TEST ( IS THERE A USE FOR 1080p PRODUCTIONS ? )
i heard about the i-zoom function of the lx100. so i got curious if it was good for something (at least better than a digital zoom) camera settings: "4k"video, iso 200, sharpness -5, when i-zoom activated fully zoomed in. in i-zoom the image seems slightly sharper. but any additional image information. guess not. by the way, i-zoom in 1080p = horrible image. so far i can't see an advantage in the i-zoom function. shooting in "4k" and crop when wanted is best... and more flexible anyway.
nikon d5300 slowmotion test - glidecam, nikon kit lens 18-55mm recorded in 1080p60, slowed down to 25p in timeline
Make sure to watch at 1080p and fullscreen. Youtube compression smoothens but moiré and aliasing on 6d and 550d (t3i) are obvious. The 5d mark iii might be the winner in lowlight and color rendering but in this quick studio test the d5300 video image wins!! Clean and sharp out of the box !! All video recorded with internal codec (no raw video)
